DOWNTON Men's bowls team have upped their game in the New Forest League.
After struggling in Salisbury and District and Wilts 4 Rink League this term, they've improved with performances and results.
The Wick Lane outfit have won three of their first six games beating Brockenhurst (69-61), Iford Bridge (68-61) and Lymington (70-68) - and are now fifth in the table.
Amesbury are dominating the Wilts 4 Rink League again but Salisbury are in second place, 11 points above Pewsey.
Teams have been eliminated from the National Trips and Rink Competitions but the singles and pairs have started this week, with teams hoping to progress much further.
