SALISBURY Rugby Club held the first of two open training sessions on Sunday in a bid to re-establish a ladies team and it was attended by a dozen women and girls.
The side had disbanded three seasons ago but it has now been reformed by former Wasps player Jo Emslie who will captain the new side.
Any women or girls over the age of 15 years are welcome to join and no previous experience is necessary.
The training sessions are run by experienced coach Tom Hill and held on a Sunday from 11.45am at the club on Castle Road.
The side is planning to train throughout the summer in order to be ready for the new season. The next open session will be taking place this Sunday.
