SOUTH Wilts are set to play an ECB Royal London national club championship tie – at the third time of asking!
Awarded a first round bye, they overcame Fawley in round two without bowling a ball in anger.
The oilmen were unable to raise a side for their scheduled Bemerton visit last Sunday.
But Southern Premier Division rivals Lymington will be coming to Wilton Road – on Sunday May 29 – after beating Bournemouth by eight wickets.
If South Wilts beat Lymington, they will visit either Havant or Ventnor in the group final.
SOUTH Wilts are in twenty20 action on Thursday night when they host the Army at Bemerton (5.45pm) – the match being sponsored by club vice-president Andy Cooke.
