THERE's reason for celebration at one Salisbury sports club after a number of their players have been selected to represent the county.
Spire Reds have 13 players who will represent two academies.
They were picked after successful trials in Swindon in which they were tested on a range of skills from shooting to balance.
Selected for the Wiltshire Under 14 Satellite Academy includes Imogen Ayling, Rosie Gipson, Ellie Glasgow, Sophie Kay, Alice Rattue, Molly Rattue and Laura Thomas.
While Darcy Arnold Drewett, Chloe Everett, Molly Hole, Millie Pratt, Abi Robertson and Zoe Shadlock have been chosen for the County Under 16 Academy.
The club is looking to recruit more players.
Anyone interested can attend training sessions at Bishop Wordsworth's School on Tuesday nights, from 7pm to 8pm. These sessions will restart on September 13.
