WORLD Cup winner Richard Hill MBE was a special guest at Salisbury Rugby Club's Sportsman Dinner.
The former Salisbury RFC youth player spoke at the event in Salisbury Guildhall, which was in aid of the club's All Change initiative.
Hill, who went to Bishop Wordsworth's, was joined by fellow ex professional Tim Stimpson.
Salisbury MP John Glen was also among the 115 guests at the black tie dinner.
Memorabilia items, including a signed England shirt, All Blacks training shirt and rugby ball, were sold.
Diners were also treated to a message from former Salisbury junior Mike Brown, which father, Mick, read out.
More than £10,000 was raised for the project, which is targeting £300,000 by next year to build new changing facilities at their Castle Road ground.
