HEREFORD FC will be monitoring their pitch ahead of this Saturday's league game against Salisbury (3pm).
Freezing temperatures of minus four degrees has led to the Edgar Street pitch being frozen; although it is thawing in the sun.
Another frosty night is forecast for tonight before overnight temperatures increase to around five and six degrees tomorrow and Saturday.
Keep your eye on the Journal website to see whether the game goes ahead.
The two sides already met this season on October 8, Salisbury winning 4-3 in the FA Trophy preliminary round.
