DOWNTON snapped their recent losing streak as they beat Totton and Eling 2-1 on Tuesday night.
Paul Gulliver and Harry Crisp were on target as the Robins won for the first time in five starts in the Wessex League Division One.
Last Saturday, Downton lost at home to East Cowes Vics 2-1 as Declan McGregor scored their goal.
Downton have a very tough Easter as they are away at sixth placed Romsey on Saturday and then are on their travels again on Monday to Tadley Calleva, who are third.
