SIX was the magic number last Sunday, as while most of the country was watching England hammer Panama 6-1, South Wilts bowler Luke Evans took a career-best 6-55 for Wiltshire against Dorset.
The paceman was in fine form for the visitors at Sherborne as the home side were bowled out for 170 on the opening day of their three day championship game.
However, the home side hit back as Wiltshire were bowled out for 153.
Second time around Dorset scored 249 and then on the third and final day of the contest, they bowled out Wiltshire for 174, as Evans' South Wilts team mate Ryan Murray scored 30 in a 92-run defeat.
