DOWNTON will start their FA Vase quest on Saturday with a trip to Eversley and California.
Last Friday, they were edged out in a five goal thriller at Fawley in the Wessex League Division One.
The home side took the lead after 19 minutes and added an second, before the visitors hit back on the 38 minute mark.
Shaun Prentice was the provider for Matt Steer to fire home from 22 yards out.
Seven minutes after the interval, Fawley made it 3-1, but the Robins hit back from the kick-off as Liam Dance headed home.
After this the visitors went searching for an equaliser, but were just unable to find it in a tense finale.
On Tuesday, Downton are at home to Ringwood in the league.
