SALISBURY FC were unable to build on their 3-2 win home win over Staines on Tuesday evening, as they lost 3-1 away at Walton Casuals.

The Whites made three changes to their starting XI as Matt Partridge replaced Kane O'Keefe, while Jacob Wannell and Pablo Haysham came in for suspended pair Elliot Wheeler and Darren Mullings.

After Josh Sommerton fired just wide for the visitors, former Salisbury man Taurean Roberts tested Jake Hallett.

After 14 minutes the home side took the lead thanks to Oliver Robinson.

After this Chris Shephard came closest to an equaliser, but fired wide when in good position in the penalty area.

A minute after the interval, Roberts doubled Walton's lead.

Salisbury then hit back on 61 minutes, as Bay Downing scored his second goal in as many games to make it 2-1.

However, any hopes of getting anything out of the game vanished, when sub Kyron Farrell netted a third for the home side.

On Saturday, Salisbury take a break from league action with a trip to Weston-super-Mare in the FA Cup.
