SALISBURY FC came back from 2-0 down to earn a home FA Cup replay against Weston-super-Mare on Tuesday night at the Ray Mac.

The reward for the winners will be a home tie against Isthmian League north side Coggershall Town in the third qualifying round.

Last Saturday, at the Somerset seaside, the Whites found themselves 1-0 down after 21 minutes after Matt Bower scored for the home side.

Weston then had their goalkeeper Luke Purnell sent-off after 37 minutes, after he pulled back Zack Kotwica outside the box.

Forward Jamie Lucas took over between the posts and eight minutes later, was in action at the other end as he extended Weston's lead from the penalty spot. This was Tom Whelan fouled Eli Phipps.

After the break, Salisbury piled on the pressure on the 10 men home side and Matt Partridge pulled a goal back after 76 minutes, as headed home a Lewis Benson's corner.

Then in the final minute of the game, a Benson corner went in off Bower into his own net to set up the replay.
