BEMERTON Heath Harlequins will hope to start their climb back up the Wessex League Premier Division table this weekend, when they travel to Bournemouth Poppies.

Having won three of their four games in December, Bemmy have picked up just a point in 2019 and suffered two more defeat in the past week, which has seen them slip to 18th in the standings.

On Tuesday night, they went down 2-0 at Shaftesbury as Greg Pell was twice on target for the home side.

Last Saturday, they went down at home 4-2 to visiting promotion chasers Portland.

Bemmy were 3-1 down at the break with Jack Slade scoring their first goal.

After the interval, the sides's swapped goals with Jordan Matthews scoring for Bemerton.

Bemmy next home game is on Tuesday February 4, when they take on Laverstock and Ford for a place in the final of the Salisbury Hospital Cup.
