BEMERTON Heath Harlequins won a five-goal thriller against Laverstock and Ford to book their place in the final of this year's Salisbury Hospital Cup.

Bemmy will have to wait until the end of the month to see who they will face, as the other semi-final between Salisbury and Shaftesbury is not due to be played until February 26.

On Tuesday night, a brace from Jack Slade and another from James Smith helped Bemmy beat their local rivals 3-2.

Russell Jones and Adam Bourner were the men on target for Laverstock.

This Saturday, Bemerton will hope to build on their cup success, when they travel to Fareham in the Wessex League Premier Division.

Then on Tuesday night they are on their travels again this time to Brockenhurst.

Meanwhile, Lavvy this Saturday entertain Whitchurch United looking for quick revenge on 2-0 away defeat by the same side a fortnight ago.

Then on Tuesday night, Laverstock have another chance to make a cup final when they travel to Merstham.

This time they take on Salisbury in a Wiltshire Senior Cup semi-final tie.
