SALISBURY'S home game against Farnborough was postponed on Saturday afternoon due to a waterlogged pitch.

Tomorrow the Whites are in action at Merstham as they face Laverstock and Ford in the semi-final of the Wilts Senior Cup.

The Whites have signed of Reading's under-23 goalkeeper Liam Driscoll on loan.

The 19-year-old was in the squad for the Farnborough game.

Australian born Driscoll’s signing follows the departure of James Hillson, who joins Arsenal, and Manager Steve Claridge said: "James is a great lad and has done a tremendous job for us alongside Jake Hallett, and we wish him the very best in what could be a major step forward in his career.”

Also leaving the club is ex-Chippenham defender Jon Beeden, who made one appearance in the Whites’ important win at home to Taunton Town recently. The Club wishes him well in his future career.

Ex Hereford wideman Pablo Haysham has also left and has signed for Didcot Town.

Claridge said: " With the emergence of Jack Sparkes, combined with Danny Young's having a good season, we felt that Pablo would have limited opportunities with us. He is a talented player, and we wish him well for the future."
