ELLINGHAM and Ringwood Rugby Club will be holding their annual festival of touch rugby and real ale at the Raymond Brown Memorial Ground on Good Friday.

The event is now the town’s second largest annual event after the Ringwood Carnival.

In total 24 touch rugby teams from across the south of England will be competing for honours in the tournament.

They will be cheered on by a bumper crowd attending the real ale festival.

Once again this year it has been generously sponsored by Ringwood Brewery.

The event is always a festival of colour, with the Lycra clad teams dressed in anything from Lego characters, to Vikings or cops and robbers.

With the weather set to be sunny on Friday, it should be a great occasion.
