On Friday, nine of the club’s younger members – Josh Dyer, Abbey Littlejohns, Lucy Wilkinson, Alicia Finnis, Molly Hole, Jolie Littlejohns, Ottilie Knight, Amelia Watling and Bea Woods – headed to Birmingham for The English Schools Track & Field Championships.

The championships are the biggest event of the year for most of these young athletes, and it is an amazing achievement to qualify. The club was delighted that Bea Wood won the inter girls 1500m in 4:31:67 and Molly Hole the high jump, clearing 1:73; both have been selected for the home international event in Swansea next weekend.
