BEMERTON Heath Harlequins will try again on Tuesday night (August 13) in the FA Cup at Andover New Street after the sides drew 3-3, writes DAVID HEATHER.
Visiting New Street took the lead after 12 minutes as Luke Hooper, but Bemmy hit back to lead 2-1 with two goals in the space of seven minutes from Eddie Perrett and Danny Finnegan,
The visitors missed a penalty, but Jason Silver levelled things as the teams went in at the break.
The second half was generally low key but New Street were the better side and they eventually went ahead after a goalmouth melee from Matt Scott.
With time running out Harlequins pushed for an equaliser and after a series of corners Justin Bennett rose above the defence to head a great 85th minute leveller
Bemmy will still be minus skipper Kane O'Keefe who appears to be out for a while and others that were carrying knocks but played on.
The reward for the winners is a trip to Thatcham on Saturday, August 24.
