DOWNTON moved up to fourth in the Wessex League Division One after beating visiting Alton last Saturday.
The home side took the lead after three minutes of the contest as Laurence Larbi and TJ Moseley combined for Robbie Owen to score .
On the 10 minute mark, the Robins made it 2-0 as Owen scored again from Diego Romero's through ball.
Alton hit straight back and scored either side of the break to make it 2-2.
Just after the hour mark, the Robins re-took the lead from Shaun Prentice and soon after Moseley scored to complete the 4-2 scoreline.
This Saturday, Downton are at home again when Romsey are the visitors.
