BEN Saunby was the pick of the City of Salisbury Running Club athletes at the Stubbington 10k.
From a total of 1,700 individual and club runners, Saunby finished fourth in a time of 33:08.
Charlotte Ingram led CoSARC’s women home in a time of 41:14.
A host of runners reduced their PBs by the stated times: Dave Gervais 1:33, Charlotte Boardman 1:04, Sarah Brewster 10 secs, Ollie Stone 1:20, Nick Lay 30 secs, Andy Makin 25 secs, Chris Simm 48 secs, Charlotte Ingram 1:02, Peter Callanan 12 secs and Matt Bosworth 41 secs.
CoSARC also sent a team to the Reading Cross Country in the Hampshire Cross-Country League.
Winners from their respective age categories:
Year seven boys - Art Mitchell 2,700 metres 10:18,
Junior girls - Sophie Wood 3,280 metres 12:31
Senior girls - Lizzie Norton 3,860 metres 14:42
