EMILY Bryant ran incredibly well to win double gold in the 100m and 150m events at the Wiltshire Schools Championships.

After their superb results at the event in Swindon the following were selected for Regional Championships in Exeter on June 18: Sophie Wood 1500m 5:06 first, Thomas Wood 1500m 4:17:20 first, Lizzie Norton Senior Girls 3000m gold medal, Thomas Dewey 1500m 4:31:10.

Olivia Barnett bagged herself second place in the Year 7 Girls 1200m.

In the Wiltshire Schools AA Championships, Freddie Bosworth cleared 1.3m in the Year 7 high jump, to earn himself the silver medal.

Mike White overcame 4,000ft elevation to come second in 9:18:00 in the Salisbury Plain 50 mile Ultra.

Dorney Lake Sprint Triathlon was Helen Carlton’s first triathlon, and she excelled herself to finish the arduous triple event in 2:00:33.

Heather Hitchens took part in the Gurkha Welfare Trust Doko Race to provide financial aid to Gurkha veterans in Nepal.

The challenge is to complete a 5km cross-country run carrying a traditional Doko basket weighing up to either 15kg in less than 46 minutes.

A trio of CoSARC’s finest bagged themselves PBs at Salisbury parkrun. They were Matt Bosworth 17:55, Dave Gervais 19:12 and Claire Clarke 27:25.
