SALISBURY FC's game against Hayes & Yeading has been postponed.

The match was due to take place tomorrow, but has had to be called off due to a frozen pitch.

There was a pitch inspection at 4pm today, and the club said it was clear to the matcj official that the entire pitch was "frozen solid" and would have no chance to thaw in time.

The club added that the news "will come as no surprise".

This game will now be played on Tuesday, January 24 and will be a 7.45pm kick-off.

The club added: "We’re disappointed that we won’t see you all on Saturday and indeed that would have been the last home match of 2022.

"We hope to see some of you at Winchester on Boxing Day and then we’re back at the Mac on January 2nd when we welcome Poole Town. We wish you all a safe and happy Christmas and we look forward to an exciting 2023."
