SHREWTON United suffered a disappointing 4-0 home defeat to Almondsbury UWE on Saturday.
Danny Cockram, Chris Church, Jordan Cooper and Steve Fitzgerald got the goals.
They will hope to get back on track in the Les Phillips Cup at Elmore on Saturday. The winners will get a second round tie at Clevedon United or Oldland Abbotonians.
The reserves also lost, 2-1 at Warminster Town reserves in the Wiltshire Premier Division.
Captain Dan Jones scored an excellent individual goal but it was not enough to get them a point.
They are at home to Westbury United’s second string this Saturday.
