VETERANS at Salisbury RFC recorded a 41-31 victory over Wiltshire rivals Devizes.
Green and Whites scored seven tries from Phil Ball, Dave Barlow, Mark Lerpiniere, Tom Buckingham, Baz Ramsey, Del Gurney and Rich Davidson. Buckingham and Gurney also chipped in with three conversions between them.
Team manager Hamish Morton said: "It was a huge effort considering we used our only substitute after five minutes (thanks to Rich Jones for a five-minute cameo) and some real grit and determination in defence."
Their next match is against Weymouth RFC Veterans on Saturday, December 3.
