SALISBURY United RFC booked their place in the final of the Dorset and Wilts 1 South Cup.
The high-flying seconds pulled off a plucky 17-13 win over Bournemouth in Saturday's semi-final.
A Tom Pottage penalty put the home side into a deserved lead before the Dorset side crossed for a try. An exchange of penalties, with a double from Pottage, gave Salisbury a 9-8 lead at half-time.
A big performance from the forwards ensured Bournemouth had to fight to stay in the game and, despite some heart-stopping moments later in the game, a Miles Thompson try and another Pottage penalty were enough to seal a hard-fought win.
