HOW heart-warming and reassuring it was to hear of Fordingbridge Rotarian Foster Herd (Forest Journal, June 22), a man who thinks of others before himself.
It is fitting that he is a member of Rotary, whose motto, as you informed us, is "service above self".
Congratulations to Mr Herd and to all members of Rotary clubs who do so much good in this troubled world.
