FURTHER to Ann Collins’ plea to the city council to clean up the Market Place paving, this should be extended to include the whole of the city centre.
Is it now against health and safety for shopkeepers to clean their shop fronts and wash the pavement ?
The area outside the cinema is particularly filthy.
The general dilapidation and many empty shops (do we need the Maltings development?) is spoiling our muchloved city for ourselves and visitors.
Better not start on the inconvenient and cluttering bus stop!
Time to decide if we want tourists or just become an urban sprawl.
