I WANTED to congratulate the managers of the Ox Row Inn (Dom and Claire) for putting on a great evenings entertainment on Friday. A band were set up on the edge of the pub seating area in the Market Square and provided great music to an audience of up to 150 people spread across the Ox Row and the adjoining Market Inn. There was a really good atmosphere and everyone had a good time. Some were up dancing! Local people and tourists alike also stopped by to listen. Congrats as well to Miss Chief and the Makers for the music and energy.

It was a great summer's evening entertainment and it was good to see a small piece of the Market Square actually being used. It’s still quite noticeable how deserted and under utilised the Market Square still is even after the second Novichok incident. I’m surprised the City Council or Bid haven’t arranged more evening events in what has been perfect summer weather.
