Well done The Journal for printing the Russian Ambassador’s position on our Salisbury poisonings. What he says is just as credible as the unsupported accusations put forward by our government. “Security” sounds like a convenient delaying tactic.
Government policy seems to distance us from Russia. Within minutes of the poisoning being discovered the Prime Minister blamed them and took retaliatory measures. Hard evidence would, of course, change my view but meanwhile a pause for thought would be more sensible if only because historically Russia has often been one of our European allies.
