ON Saturday I travelled to Salisbury to meet up with family. On entering the central car park we noticed it seemed very busy which is good news for our local city. I was appalled to see the parking of some of the vehicles. Quite a few were taking up two parking slots this is just total disregard for the free parking that is in place.

I addressed this with the parking ambassadors who informed me, as the car park is not very well marked out, then it is not worth handing out tickets as they would be challenged. Thus making the ticket null and void.

So come on Salisbury Council get the car parks marked up and start issuing these inconsiderate drivers with penalty notices.
