ARE you fed up with the constant news of cut backs on a daily basis, in the name of austerity, to pay back the national debt? Successive governments have allowed global companies and some individuals to plunder our meagre earnings and escape (yippee) paying little or no tax. This is destroying our shopping habits and the fabric of our society.
The NHS in crisis, police, fire, ambulance and councils starved of funding. I look to the current government to take the bull by the horns and get these organizations to contribute to the financial running of the UK or get out.
I am sure there are many small British owned companies prepared to pay their part in the funding of the infrastructure of this country. Maybe Brexit will make a difference, I sincerely hope so otherwise we will become a basket case looking for handouts from the EU of which we will no longer be a member.
