THE second Salisbury Angel Festival at the United Reformed Church in Fisherton Street is now underway with an exciting series of events. On Friday evening two notable Chelsea Gold Medal winners will be giving a floral demonstration and on Saturday afternoon they will have a workshop. Children will be entertained on Saturday morning with Wilbur the Wiltshire Air Ambulance mascot present. There is an angel outline outside of the church where you can take a photograph of yourself or child in addition to being able to ride on a static fitness cycle. Last year's popular craft stall will be selling miniature angels for Christmas decorations.
An attractive free exhibition of angels created by schools, churches and individuals is open from 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 5pm on Thursday and Friday, 10am to 5pm on Saturday. Further information is available on the Salisbury URC website and follow the link to the festival.
