I WOULD like to use your letters page if possible, to thank Sean Saunders and his very enthusiastic team for putting on a football session each Monday evening for those children locally with special needs.
Our 12-year-old would not be able to access main-stream football so these sessions are so important to him and give him and others the opportunity to practise and learn new skills, play some football and have some fun for an hour on Monday evenings from 5.30 to 6.30 pm at the Victoria Park Bowls Club (SP1 3JH). Numbers are quite low at the moment so if you feel you would like to come along, everyone would be very pleased to welcome you.
