I AND other readers are surely indebted to Mr Jones, of Hale; I followed his advice 'Brexit claims' (Postbag, Nov 15); and, overlooking his assumption that I have a computer, went 'online'. I totally agree with him now, there is evidence that the claims I made may have been poorly researched and for that I must apologise. I would also like to temper that statement and share the observation with him, and possibly, other readers, the fact that whilst online, I also found websites that made claims regarding irrefutable evidence that a. the world is flat after all, b. there definitely were never any moon landings and c. that Volkswagen have the lowest diesel emissions on the market; this all reminds me of statistical corroboration.
