In reference to the OAP ghetto letter last week (S. Thomas, Journal Postbag December 13), has anyone noticed that there are four OAP apartments either occupied or being built, each one being situated alongside some of the most polluted roads in Salisbury.
OK, when they were offices occupied 8 or 9 hours a day by younger people, but the OAPs will be in an unhealthy atmosphere for much longer.
Do our planners consider locations or just grab the hand of any developer willing to develop many of our unoccupied premises?
