Some thoughts following recent issues of tourism, pollution, traffic and disability raised.

Tourism is vital to Salisbury’s economy but the problems caused by allowing coach parking close to Cathedral and Christmas market generally makes thing worse.

Some possible solutions: Coaches generally to use a bigger coach station and a new bus station as main part of any Maltings/central car park development.

In the short-term coaches use link with frequent park and ride services which have good access to main sites.

Salisbury has a lack of disabled parking in city car parks, and this needs addressing.

Links with the existing coach station already exist with shopmobility which should also help problems correspondents raise.
