On behalf of the Salisbury Branch of the Royal British Legion I would like to give a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the 2018 Poppy Appeal in Salisbury city.
From first reports we have raised over £38,000 this year.
Special thanks must go to all our Poppy Collectors who stood out in the cold with their tins and poppies.
it was really appreciated that so many kind people supplied us with tea coffee and biscuits this year.
A big thank you must also go to the City RBL Band for all their support.
A very special thanks is to go to my very good friend John Grigsby who for many years has collected for the poppy appeal at Waitrose and has now decided due to age he us retiring.
Thank you one and all.
Rob Giddings.
President, RBL Branch Salisbury
