LIKE Barry Webb, I too am concerned that even more money is going to be siphoned out of the police funds to recruit and employ a deputy PCC.
The ratepayer is charged a sum of money by the local Council to provide a police service for the community. Funds are limited and the need is enormous.
As the post of PCC was fought on a party political ticket, then surely central Government should be paying for this role, not the ratepayers.
