ON Thursday, January 10, I was shopping in Waitrose and had in my basket an addressed but unstamped letter. I intended to purchase stamps when I had finished shopping. However on completing my shopping I could not find the letter. After a futile search, I gave up and presumed the letter was lost.
However, this morning I received a reply from the company to whom I was writing. Therefore some kind person had found the letter and posted it, perhaps having also attached a postage stamp to it.
How kind is that?
I hope this letter will be published and the person concerned will read it and accept my grateful thanks for such kindness.
