I am confused as to where the city fathers consider the centre of Salisbury to be.
I understood that it used to be between the Market Square and the Cathedral.
Despite the call for funding to revitalise the shops in the middle of Salisbury it now seems that Fisherton Street, to the east, is to be developed as the new city centre while behind it is being added a proposed "Arts" area.
This will alter the 'feel' of our city and adversely affect both visitors and ourselves.
