A SHOP that had previously said it had closed its doors for good has suddenly reopened.
The House of Tweed had two shops - one in a prime central location on the New Canal and one in Butcher Row. Both stores closed citing rising costs in December 2022.
Today, (Tuesday, March 13) the stock is being set back up and shop windows are displayed.

Owner Tom Bucknell said: "We have come to an agreement and we are all happy I think.
"It's just a short-term contract for the time being. Even today, when opening, people said, we are so happy you are back."
He noted how many shops were empty along New Canal.
Although the company had two shops open previously, Tom confirmed that the Butcher Row store will remain shut.
He added: "We had to let go of a couple of staff last year but the rest are here and we will be here probably until the end of the year."
