A CONVENIENCE store opened in the city this month with the owner thrilled to be a part of the Salisbury community.
Vinos Premier is located on Estcourt Road and opened officially on Saturday, November 11.
This is the second store belonging to Vinothkumar Kanasamy. He opened his Family Shopper store in 2018, located on the main Andover to Newbury Road.
Vinothkumar said: "We are thrilled to be part of the Salisbury community and are eager to provide our customers with information about the shop. We believe that our presence will add value to the vibrant atmosphere of Salisbury."

Vinothkumar has been in England for 12 years and lives in Andover. He was told about the empty shop premises on Escourt Road in September and knew it was run down. By October, the decision had been made and the shelves were being stacked ready for the official opening.
The shop offers many amenities including fresh milkshakes, a state-of-the-art coffee machine, a Jolly Rancher slush machine, a range of fresh foods and vegetables, frozen foods, everyday essentials, a vape unit, an alcohol section, pay-point services, as well as a newspaper, magazine, and parcel service.
The highlight of the store is the Beer & Wine and Soft Drinks Cave which is a pioneering concept- for a compact retail setting. It ensures that customers have access to a diverse range of drinks in one location.
Vinothkumar enjoys working for himself.
He said: "I love the retail industry. I wanted to be self-employed, and I don't like pressure. This doesn't feel like pressure. Plus I like to chat to everyone. I like being in the shop."
"My wife Sathya is in IT and she never understands why I like to talk to so many people."
The core element of the shop is the attention to customer service. At the heart of Vino's Premier is its friendly and dedicated team. Vinothkumar emphasised that he and his team, Athish and Tamil, are all committed to providing a service of excellence and to ensure customers receive a pleasant shopping experience.
Vinothkumar is also known for donating money to the community where he lives. In 2020, he donated £500 plus £1000 of his own money to the local parish council to improve play equipment.
Vinos Premier is open from 7am to 11pm daily.
