SALISBURY could see heavy snow tomorrow night, according to the Met Office.
A yellow weather warning has been issued for Wiltshire, with the Met Office advising people to expect ice on roads and pavements, and that transport is likely to be affected.
Weather reports vary, but both the Met Office and BBC Weather say Salisbury will see a period of 'heavy snow' on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.
The yellow weather warning will be in place from midday tomorrow until 11am on Wednesday.
According to the Met Office when there is a yellow warning:
- There is a small chance of travel delays on roads with some stranded vehicles and passengers, along with delayed or cancelled rail and air travel
- There is a slight chance that some rural communities could become cut off
- There is a small chance that power cuts will occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected
During that time the temperature is also set to plummet to -3°C.
