SALISBURY Sinfonia return to St Thomas’s Church with a colourful French inspired programme, under the baton of Tom Seligman.
The concert on Saturday, February 9, is at 7.30pm.
It begins with Debussy’s dream-like Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, then local pianist, Alistair Watson, makes his debut with the Sinfonia, performing Ravel’s jazz-influenced and light-hearted Piano Concerto in G.

The programme continues with Rautavaara’s Cantus Arcticus, and Ravel’s whimsical fairy tale inspired Mother Goose Suite.
Organisers say it is a “fantastic feast for the ears, not to be missed”.
Tickets are available in advance from Salisbury Information Centre, Fish Row. They can also be purchased on the door.
