The pub in The Maltings was closed yesterday, with a poster in the garden apologising for inconvenience caused.
The sign also warned the venue might be closed today.
A statement on the pub's Facebook page, posted at around 1pm today, said: "Due to unforseen circumstances we will only be open from 12pm until 6pm.
"Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause."
Greene King, the operator behind Bishops Mill, has been contacted for comment.
