THE BISHOPS Mill in Salisbury will remain closed today.

The pub in The Maltings shut at 6pm on Wednesday due to 'unforeseen circumstances'. 

In a Facebook post published this morning (Thursday August 26), the venue revealed it will remain closed today as well.

General manager, Emmy, said: "Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to ask the team 'if they are ok' and want to thank our guests for being patient with us.

"We have taken the decision to close the pub today as trading safely is our number one priority. Coming to the pub and working in one should be a fun experience."

The post added that things "are not back to the normal we like them to be, yet".

The pub was also closed on Tuesday August 24, with a poster in the garden apologising for the inconvenience caused.
