Wiltshire Police are currently assisting a Heavy Goods Vehicle stuck in the underpass near Waitrose in Salisbury.

National Highways has been contacted to assess the road, and officers are in attendance to assist with traffic management.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “At around 10.15am today (Wednesday, December 1), we received a call about a heavy goods vehicle stuck under the A36 in Salisbury, close to Waitrose.

“We have contacted National Highways for them to attend and assess the road.

“Officers are currently in attendance to assist with traffic management.”
