The Scribes, a multi-award winning hip hop act from Bristol, are heading to Salisbury.

Known for critically acclaimed performances full of energy, beatboxing, crowd participation and off the cuff freestyling, The Scribes have become festival favourites across the UK, regularly gracing the stage at Glastonbury, Latitude, Wilderness, Boomtown Fair, Urban In Ibiza, Shambala, Bearded Theory, Leopallooza and many more.

The group’s extensive touring has seen them perform and collaborate with some of the biggest names in the scene including Macklemore, Rudimental, MF Doom, Dizzee Rascal, Lethal Bizzle, Example, De La Soul, Wu Tang Clan, Wiley, KRS One, Four Owls, Goldie, Sugarhill Gang and Chase and Status to name but a few.

During the 2021 Covid lockdowns The Scribes worked with The Get Down Records for the limited 7” clear vinyl ‘Stir Crazy/Haunted House Party’, before starting 2022 by signing with international agency Stimulus Management.

The Scribes are at The Winchester Gate in Salisbury today (Friday March 18), 8.30pm.

The show will be their first appearance in Salisbury since signing with Stimulus Management in February.
