AN OLD photograph taken in the late 1930s or early 1940s has sparked a mystery as to where it was taken.
Journal reader Sue Acworth came across the photo when searching through her late husband’s things.
She believes it was taken in Salisbury and is trying to find out exactly where the photo was taken.

Sue said: “I would love to find out and hope that you can help. Can you recognise the rounded end of a church in the background? It looks as if it was done by a professional photographer.”
Sue’s husband was born in 1934 and can be seen as a boy sitting in the front of the group on the ground.
