A vehicle was located with a large quantity of suspected stolen items by the New Forest’s High Harm Team last week.
On Friday, April 14 at around 11.30pm, the officers located the red Volkswagen Sharan on Calmore Drive, Totton and were suspicious that the vehicle might have been involved in a crime and connected to a number of burglaries in the Wiltshire and Hampshire areas.

When searching the vehicle they found a large number of power tools, electrical goods, a high-end mountain bike and gardening equipment including chainsaws and hedge trimmers.
The police seized the vehicle and are looking to identify the rightful owners of the equipment.
The mountain bike has already been returned to its owner in Downton.
The police have asked anyone who has been a victim of a crime recently or has had similar items stolen from their property to contact them on 101, quoting 44230146758
