Nearly the entire thatched roof of a pub in Alvediston has been destroyed by a fire.
The Crown Inn has sustained severe damage as a result of the blaze.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called at 5.14pm yesterday afternoon (May 10) to the Crown Inn at Alvediston to reports of a thatch fire.
On their arrival, firefighters quickly requested support.
At around 10pm there were 12 fire engines and several specialist vehicles at the incident (approximately 60 firefighters).
